    sunburn with melanotan

    I did my first jab of melanotan today went tanning to solarium sunbed like i was told to do, went in for 16 min and got burnt!!
    What that supposed to happen? I took 1mg if that matters.

    Hi, melanotan does not magically stop you from burning, if it's your first jab then you will burn like normal, give it a bit more time to build up in your system, if you are fair skinned you should go slow with tanning until melanotan takes effect. Once you start seeing skin getting darker you can gradually increase uv ray exposure.

    keep going, after 10 or so days you will look completely different, be prepared to for a lot of comments, have you need on holiday? and so on

    Hey

    Yeah it takes a few days to kick in

    If i remember it took me 4 days and 2 tanning sessions to start seeing magic happen.

    If you have really fair skin, you will still have to be careful with it, melanotan will help prevent skin burning, but won't rule it out completely until you have a decent base tan.

    I got tanned really well on 0.5 - 0.75 a day for 4 weeks without even having to go to sunbed - after 4 weeks i definitely looked like i have just came back from holiday. I have proved to myself melanotan works even without tanning.

    if your a red head it will take quite a bit longer read the stick on the top of this forum.... i think its called the fitzpatrick scale
